The many rivers that flow through it make the land muddy and wet. People can live in the southern part of the plain. The North European Plain lays in the northwest part of Russia. It is where a few major cities were built.The plains in Russia make it much larger.
Mountains ranges in Russia are huge in Russia. Major mountain ranges includethe Ural Mountains and the Causcasus Mountains. The Ural mountains are not very high. They create a border between Russia and Asia. This can create minor problems of travel through it. The Causcasus Mountains are taller than the Ural mountains. These mountains are covered in trees.
